Practical resources

Better preparation.
A calmer first week.

Use these short checklists in your school’s planning meeting, data review and monthly assessment routine.

Use with your team

Four checklists you can use now.

Your first rollout meeting

Use this agenda to agree what a successful first phase looks like.

  • Name one school coordinator and one owner for each module
  • Choose the classes and modules for the first rollout
  • List the tasks staff should be able to complete at the end
  • Agree training sessions, support contacts and a review date
  • Confirm which tasks stay in the current process during the transition

Prepare a school data import

A clean starting roster reduces repeated corrections later.

  • Use one agreed spelling for classes, sections and subjects
  • Check unique student and employee identifiers
  • Resolve duplicate people and incomplete required fields
  • Review parent-child links and contact information
  • Test a small sample and keep a record of corrections
  • Agree who can access, export and retain the source files

Review the monthly teaching plan

Make a plan that fits the timetable and the class.

  • Confirm the correct syllabus, textbook edition and chapter mapping
  • Check available teaching periods, holidays and exam days
  • Adjust chapter order and expected teaching time
  • Review lesson suggestions before approving the school version
  • Keep scheduled dates separate from recorded teaching
  • Review chapters needing more time before assessment selection

Check an assessment before release

Use this checklist for each draft, including drafts created together.

  • Confirm the class, sections, subjects and chapter scope
  • Review approved matching questions and any coverage gaps
  • Check answers, scoring, pass criteria and total marks
  • Review duration and proposed dates
  • Set the availability window for online delivery
  • Preview the student experience and follow the school’s approval process
