Getting started

A clear start.
One school workflow at a time.

Use this introduction to understand the setup order and the responsibilities behind the main workspaces. Your school’s access and enabled modules may differ.

01 · School setup

Build the context before importing work.

  1. 01

    Confirm the academic structure

Set the academic year, classes, sections and subjects. Check that class and subject names match the way your school works.

  2. 02

    Review the people import

Prepare student and employee records, check the import columns and resolve validation errors. Review a small sample before a wider import.

  3. 03

    Assign teaching responsibilities

Link teachers to the correct sections and subjects. Add timetable slots and review the school calendar.

  4. 04

    Check access with each role

Confirm who manages setup, plans lessons, records attendance and reviews exams. Verify student and parent links before sharing access.

02 · Teaching & learning

Link the syllabus, then plan the months.

  1. 01

    Check the book and syllabus

Review the class, subject, edition and chapter titles. A published library syllabus can then be linked to the class subject in Learning setup.

  2. 02

    Review the year plan

Use chapter teaching periods and the timetable as a starting point. Adjust chapter order and dates around holidays and exams before approval.

  3. 03

    Prepare lesson plans

Open the monthly view, review available chapter suggestions, edit the lesson and approve the version to use.

  4. 04

    Record what was taught

Teachers record taught lessons separately. An approved or scheduled plan does not automatically mean a chapter is complete.

03 · Assessments

Prepare the scope. Review the draft. Release deliberately.

  1. 01

    Choose the assessment context

Select the planning period, class, sections and subjects. Review the chapter scope for each proposed assessment.

  2. 02

    Check the question bank

Review approved matching questions and resolve shortages. Reducing a question count is useful only when the remaining assessment still meets your purpose.

  3. 03

    Review the details

Check the questions, marks, duration, scoring and proposed dates. For an online exam, set the student availability window before release.

  4. 04

    Publish the right work

Saving drafts does not release them to students. Use the exam workspace to review readiness and follow your school’s publication process.

Students

Use the account provided by your school. Published resources, assigned homework and released assessments appear according to your class and school setup.

Parents

Use your linked parent account to see child information. Contact the school if a child is missing or a record looks incorrect.
